We have an ever-evolving database for tour press. We've refined the process to get the most effectiveness from both our time and the artist's. We use two programs that interact. Our database programs allow us to determine what type of radius around the concert we want to effect and then go directly to those media sources.

One way to offset the expense of independent publicity is to think in terms of concert tickets sold. Through tour press alone, if we can help sell an extra 10-15 tickets in each market, then the money made in extra tickets sales each month quickly cancels out the cost of PR.
