Patrick Davis

The 5-song EP Worktapes (Release Fall 2007) features the single "Diamond In The Making," which was co-written by Davis and songwriter/artist Mat Kearney.

Patrick is currently on tour this fall as the support act for Hootie and the Blowfish and Pat Green, as well as headlining shows in select markets.

Patrick Davis Patrick was signed to EMI Music Publishing in 2006 and has strong ties to the Country Music songwriting community.

Patrick has several songs on the new Pat Green record, as well as the single "Dixie Lullaby", which charted at #25 on the Billboard Country Radio Charts in 2007.

Patrick has penned three top ten hits on the Texas charts, including the 9 week number one hit "Beat of Your Heart" co-written and performed by Cory Morrow. Additionally "Beat of Your Heart" won Song of The Year from the noted Gruene Hall Gruene with Envy Awards.

Patrick has penned tunes with a range of artists and writers, including Robert Randolph, Matt Kearney, Guy Clark, Sugarland, David Wilcox, Radney Foster, Darius Rucker, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Brett James and many of the top songwriters in Nashville and Texas.

Patrick's first album, Chances Are, was produced by Mark Bryan, guitarist for Hootie and the Blowfish and was released independently in 2003.

Before signing his publishing deal in 2006, Patrick played nearly 200 dates each year. Playing music is the only job he has ever had.

Patrick learned to play the guitar in high school and was influenced from a young age by his father, Rusty Davis, a guitar player and local music shop owner.

Originally from Camden, SC, Patrick Davis now lives in Nashville, TN.
